The founding members are the active members, who joined the association at the time of its creation or before 31 December 2010.
The members of the Founding Group, i.e. those behind the creation of the association, are also founding members.



EFFINERGIE Association

The EFFINERGIE Association, created in 2006, has the objective of promoting low energy consumption in new and renovated buildings. It brings together professionals in buildings and community groups in order to strive for buildings having real energy efficiency. The members are invited to participate in transversal working groups in which each one puts its skills at the service of the association. The development of educative tools and training are the means to promote our approach to raise awareness, to transfer knowledge for a good appropriation by the actors of the building industry and the diffusion of new concepts.

QUALITEL Association

Since 1974, the QUALITEL Association is an independent non-for-profit organization acknowledged by the public authorities and which has the objective of promoting and evaluating the quality of housing through certification and information. Its Board of Directors gathers the representatives of the major actors of the building industry and stakeholders, tenants and consumers, organizations involved with the quality of building as well as public
authorities and research centres. In 2009, more than 140000 residential unit registered for a QUALITEL certification, Habitat & Environment, Patrimoine Habitat/ Patrimoine Habitat & Environment certification, NF Logement HQE (French Standard (NF) for residential buildings), and NF Maison Individuelle HQE (for detached houses). Close to 1000 professionals (master builders, constructors) are currently involved with QUALITEL works and certification, including Bouygues Immobilier, l’Immobilière 3F, COGEDIM, Paris Habitat, GEOXIA... About fifty territorial groups (local authorities) and developer contractors were equally prescribers of the QUALITEL’s certification. QUALITEL currently counts a staff of 170 people and a network of 300 building auditors and evaluators.

CSTB

Independent public actor, at the service of innovation in buildings, the Scientific and Technical Centre for Buildings (CSTB) engages in four key activities- research, expertise, evaluation and diffusion of knowledgewhich allows it to achieve the objectives of sustainable development for building products, buildings and their integration in districts and cities. The CSTB contributes essentially to the quality and security of sustainable buildings through the skills of its 850 collaborators, its subsidiary companies (CertiVéA and Céquami) and its network of national, European and international partners.

French Institute for Energy Performance in Buildings

Founded in 2007, the French Institute for Energy Performance in Buildings (IFPEB) is a partnership between economic agents on the ground. This Institute is both a research-action laboratory and a place to share workings, strategic information. It informs, advices, and accompanies its members to ensure a good positioning on the sustainable building market of tomorrow. Its operational character allows businesses to benefit from concrete, applicable and targeted solutions. Thanks to its capacity to synthesize, the members of IFPEB share a vision of a more and more globalized market. Its shared workings allow for economies of scale, time and money. Furthermore, the Institute’s international activities help maintain a strong partnership with the European sustainable building network.

HQE Association

Founded in 1996, the HQE Association unites public organizations or community groups representing the overall actors of the building industry in order to develop safe and comfortable buildings whose impact on the environment, evaluated throughout a life cycle, are brought under control. Known as a public utility since January 2004, HQE Association has 2 essential missions: to encourage the progress of the HQE (High Environmental Quality) approach and ensure its promotion and acknowledgement. With its partners (the certification bodies) it promotes the French “NF – type of building – HQE” certifications which cover the service sectors (office, retail,…), multi-residential and detached houses as well as those being renovated.

RESOBAT Association

The RESOBAT association is a federation of regional associations at the service of professional actors of the building industry and the sustainable development in view to manage the EnviroBOITE resource centre.

This tool, created and enhanced by the professionals of the field is made available to professionals. It perpetuates and facilitates the emergence and the dynamics of regional initiatives, it brings answers fit to particular regions, cultures, climates and contexts and enables contact with neighbouring European and international countries to share experiences, adjust actions, innovate and to be more efficient.

 
AFNOR Group and its subsidiary AFNOR Certification

logoafnorService operator, the AFNOR Group focuses on 4 skill areas: standardization, industry press, training and certification. First certification organization in France, AFNOR provides services and engineering certifications and evaluates products, systems, services, process and skills. AFNOR Certification issues famous labels like NF (French Standard), AFAQ, Ecolabel européen. The notions of quality, well-being and security are more and more integrated, accepted and understood directly or indirectly by the overall actors, who are concerned by the economy of construction and buildings. With the AFNOR Group, applying these notions, through certifications and standards allow them to concretely achieve objectives.

the Plan Bâtiment Grenelle

The Plan Bâtiment Grenelle is the organization which implements and coordinates the French governmental programme that improves the energy performance of buildings. The Grenelle de l’environnement plans to implement a huge programme which will reduce the energy consumption of buildings. Given the issues,
complexity and the multiple actors related to this programme, the French government wished its workings to be subjected to a specific direction in regards to duration, undertaken by an influential person appointed by the Prime Minister and accountable of the Minister of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable development and the Sea. Since January 2009, Philippe Pelletier, lawyer and former President of the national Agency for the habitat, is the Chair of the strategic committee of the Plan Bâtiment Grenelle. On the basis of a partnership and consulted approach, this plan allows for the implementation of the commitments associated with the Grenelle in all building sectors (private and social residential, public and private service sectors), both for construction and renovation.
